Upscale Kitchen Remodel
Remodeling in a high-rise can have many challenges for all parties involved including the contractor, the designer and the owner of the apartment but when the right personalities come together with a goal of success in mind the process can be quite smooth. This was the case for this beautiful upscale kitchen remodel in a downtown Waikiki high-rise. As the contractor and designer for this remodel, Homeworks worked closely with the building management company to ensure that they were provided with any information they may need for us to do work in the building while following all building rules and regulations. When visiting with the client after the project was finished they praised Homeworks for following the procedure of the building for remodeling and thanked us for representing them in a professional manner and communication throughout the project.
The remodel included an extensive overhaul of the kitchen, flooring throughout and other miscellaneous parts. The Kitchen turned from dark, enclosed and a bit cramped to vibrant and open with a stylish clean look. Together, Homework’s kitchen designer and the client worked to transform the look and feel of the space with new stainless steel high end appliances, a pearl white tile back splash for an entire wall and floating shelving systems to act as cabinet space without the bulkiness of an actual cabinet. It was finished with soft close drawers and doors as well as a drop in cook top on a beautiful slab of granite. One of the best compliments a company can get is return business; and as of right now we are in the process of remodeling two of their bathrooms. Check for these updates!
