New Custom Home
Many people dream of building their very own home, preferably in an amazing place like Hawaii. For this Honolulu family the dream and goal of living in a space that they designed and loved came true with Homeworks Construction as the General Contractor for the job. Starting with a simple concept of creating a family home with room for the family to host gatherings and hang out together but still space for each person to have some privacy, Homeworks worked with the family to nail down the layout and design. In the mean time, the family was meeting with Homeworks’ very own Selections Specialist and Kitchen and Bath Designer to pick out the flooring, paint colors, counter tops, cabinets, hardware and fixtures for both plumbing and electrical! In these stages building their New Custom Home began with Homeworks, but this is certainly not where it ended.
Once the project manager manager is involved and construction has started, the home owners involvement is just as important even though it is not as hands on as the design stage. They are needed for critical decisions for matters such as electrical outlets, door swings, window placements and many other choices concerning characteristics that make for a truly custom home. These home owners were involved from the start of construction and followed through with weekly on site meetings with their project manager to discuss the ins and outs of the project and the progress Homeworks was making. By the end of the project the family and Homeworks were both very happy with the finished product!
