A General Contractor’s Dream
When someone ask’s Homeworks’ project coordinators “How much per Square foot?” It is a tough question because every project has it’s own set of challenges and every home owner has different taste and style. “Where are we going to dinner tonight?” Are we getting fast food to go, or are we going to a fine dining restaurant? Yes, this is a typical response you could hear just to explain how much our answer could vary. As a builder of the community we feel it’s best to insist on seeing your property first before providing an estimate. This way we can get a clear vision of your property and the home before assessing the scope of work. One exception to this theory is a project that involves knocking down a home to build new on a flat lot, which is considered as a General Contractor’s Dream Job.
This new home fell under the “Dream Job” category and was a joy for Homeworks to build with it’s basic yet functional layout and simple but clean finishes. Building a brand new home means that Homeworks can assure all details of the project will be held to the highest quality standards from the footings to the roof. Because we are not building on or around another companies work we assume full responsibility and accountability for the project as a whole. The interior consist of a clean “U-Shaped Kitchen” that opens up into a big family room along with two bedrooms and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
