New Home on Lunalilo Home Road

Every job has a story; some are just moving to Hawaii and want a fresh new home or renovation; some are expanding their family and need more space; some have lived here in the same home for a very long time and just need an upgrade to their living style. Many times over the years home owners have chosen Homeworks to tear down a long time family home and build new. This was the case with this New Home on Lunalilo Home Road as the childhood home of the wife was to be their place of retirement, but not before making some upgrades first. When taking a job such as this one, it is important for the general contractor to take pride in the memories of the property and respect it just as the home owners haves for so many years. At Homeworks our goal is to bring you quality work and the best materials possible to make your vision come true and it is important to us that whether it is a brand new land for your family or it has been in the family for decades that we provide a finished product that you’ll be happy to live in a make new memories in for years to come.

The Design for their home was based around the functionality of living in a multi-family situation. There are two master suites, which means two bedrooms that have full bathrooms attached, one large living room and dining area that transitions into a beautiful open kitchen  layout and an outdoor covered patio for an indoor/outdoor setting. One of our favorite features is the aging in place master bathroom consisting of a  “Curb-less” walk-in shower with a roll up sink and grab bars for full wheel chair assess, perfect for an elderly parent or grandparent to get around with ease. Another aesthetically pleasing feature in this new home is the high vaulted drywall ceilings in the living room dining room area. Vaulted ceilings can create great depth in a room that would otherwise seem small for its function. Take a look at the pictures from start to finish and get ideas for your project along the way!
