Building Homes With Better Products

At Homeworks Construction, we strive to bring you the best design-build services on the island at the most affordable price. After 21 years in the business and 750+ projects, we pride ourselves in both building custom, quality homes that meet the needs of our clients and proving an exceptional build experience.

Being ranked among the nation’s Top 500 residential remodelers by Qualified Remodeler Magazine (placing 188 in 2014 and ranking each year since 1999), we’ve developed a reputation of being a leader in Hawaii’s construction industry.

Full Service Experience

While we excel in new homes and remodels, we still focus our efforts on smaller piece projects, be it a single bathroom remodel, a complete kitchen overhaul, or any other services that can go into a new home project.

Thanks to our full in-house architectural staff and sample showroom, we provide a comprehensive design-build experience with architectural, drafting, and design teams in place to move your project along with efficiency and professionalism. From plan development to drafting, our team posses the expertise and agility to uncover the design you want and perfect your concept as we go.

The Build Process

Our project coordinators work directly with you to develop a scope of work and finish specifications to fit both your vision and budget, all of which are included in our Free Consultation.

With an architect lead team, together we’ll create custom designed construction plans with the look and feel you’re after, incorporating our expertise with your personal style.

Using only the best craftsmen in the industry, we execute your project design into reality. From demolition to the last nail laid, your project manager oversees all aspects of the work to ensure the highest build standards are met.

Once done with construction, we conduct a final review with you before approving and signing off the project, to assure all deliverables are in place and the work has been completed to the highest standards.

Giving Back To The Community

Beyond build quality homes, our company (lead by co-owners Marshall Hickox, Sylvio Boucher, and Jim Byxbee, and Vice-President Wendy Wei) has set a precedent to give back to the community through outreach programs and educational seminars.

Each month, our company holds free seminars in our showroom, focusing on industry topics and trends in Hawaii. Marshall Hickox can be found at the annual BIA Home and Renovation shows, offering free kitchen and bath forums. We’ve also been honored to work with closely with Honolulu Habitat for Humanity, developing the “Doors To New Beginnings” program, donating front doors and acting as project managers for homes built by the organization and its volunteers for qualified families.
